Get started with Pinta
Running Pinta for the first time
Let's assume that you have images you want to categorize based on their general appearance. Here's what to do:
- Download and install Pinta if you alredy have not done so.
- Start Pinta Trainer.
- Select a bunch of images you want to classify using "Browse..." on the left.
- Set image scaling to medium.
- Hit "Train" at the upper right corner of the window.
- Wait until Pinta finishes learning and images show up in the Classification Result area.
- Check the results by double clicking on the cells on the map.
- Play with the parameters to see how they affect the results.
